Another possibility may be that warm moist air from the outside is coming in contact with the bottom cool surface of the air conditioner and causing condensation. You could make sure you've sealed all the air leaks around the air conditioner where it mounts to the window opening. 3M corporation makes a blue colored masking tape for interior painting applications that is supposed to be able to be removed easily. You might try taping any air gaps and also sticking a piece of foam insulation to the bottom surface of the air conditioner where the condensation is. However, if the condensation is actually leaking from the interior of the unit, then the answers above explain about cleaning the drain pan and making sure the unit is tilted toward the outside.

What we have done is to drill 3 holes in the bottom of the air conditioner on the outside overhang to allow water to drain. We used a 1/4 inch drill bit, then drilled one hole on both corners as close to the corner as you can get, and then one hole in the middle. Be sure there is no obstruction where you drill the holes first. You can also use just two holes, one in each corner. We did this on all air conditioners owned by our tenants to avoid the water damage by condensation on the inside. Periodically use a toothpick, small straw (stirrer), to check and make sure holes are not clogged.

first, clean the drain pan and drip tube.
if that doesn't do it, then place a enough downward pressure on the top of the unit(outside) to make it lean just a wee bit closer to the ground.

Either you drain is plugged or its positioned improperly.

Dust, algie & fungi will build up in drain pan, if it is tilted enough toward outside, slowly pour some hot bleach water in drain pan until it drains freely.
