Around 40% of Lebanese people are Maronite Catholis. The other five percent are smaller christian groups? I have friends in Tyre and Beirut. (All Christian). If you see Lebanese Christians dying, would you fight for Israel and fight against Israel> (Not Racial, just opinion) NO RACIAL REMARKS!!!!

There is a wider picture to this conflict, the Israelis used the taking of the soldiers as a green light to start this confrontation. All the Hezbollah wanted was the release of women and children held in Israelie prisons, then the soldiers would have been freed, this has happend in the past. But the Israelies have another agenda, Israel is small and its population are growing they need more land for these people to live on.
They have taken land of the Palestinians and continue to do so, and now they have turned their heads towards Lebanon. They want to have a 20-40 mile buffer zone, I expect this will be on the Lebanese side, then they will slowly start to build on this land just as they did with the land they took from the Palestinians.
All I see on TV in England is the destruction and lives lost in Lebanon are much higher than those in Israel. Hezbollah may not be able to inflict the same amount of death and destruction on Israel as they are receiving, but is this only because they do not have the backing of the USA. The Israelis should stop killing innocent people and get back to their own side of the border, put up a twenty mile buffer zone in there....will they do that?....don't think so.

When you go after hezbollahs you go after hezbollahs.
When you destroy banks, roads, bridges, airports, hospitals, schools, women and children under the pretext that hezbollahs are hiding among them. you not precisely targetting hezbollahs you are committing economic sabotage.
lebanon would have achieved a phenomenal 6% economic growth this year. Time israel export her two favourite products to her neighbour;Jaffa and violence.
Religious divide has nothing to do with Israeli belligerence. The destruction of lebanon was down to pure envy and evil

I am not a muslim.
I think it is right that Israel continue to fight the terrorists which have been allowed into Lebanon - with approval of the lebanese 'government' and the people who live there.
Israel must persevere.

Your question does not make sense. You should focus on the terrorists who are firing rockets at Irsaeli children. These are innocent children. hezbollah are cowards. They hide amongst the civilian population. They don't wear uniforms. They don't protect their own people. A noble people, with a noble army DO! There would be no terrorists, if they conducted themselves with honor.
