and even better, I have a router and a wireless network I wonder if you could hook up the cable TV through the wireless router. that would be AWESOME (and I grew up in Huntington Beach so when I say "AWESOME" I mean it)

i dun know that is it possible to hook up ur cable thrugh ur wireless router.... i think... it isnt possible!!!

u can use external tv tuner with ur laptop to watch tv, record tv while watching and use it to capture video from other video sources!

it wuld be perfect for you...

I dont know about the router but you can buy a pcmcia TV tuner card for your laptop, givin that your laptop has a pcmcia slot.
