Why did Fred Flintsone keep ordering those ribs ?

He knew his car would tip...it did at the beginning of every show..so why keep ordering them?

Because back then, no one gave a **** about colesterol. Othewise, the opening credits for the flintstones would have had fred ordering a nice cob salad.

It was visually appealing to kids of all ages and had nothing to do with what Fred liked.
