No! Sick is sick! You claimed you were sick and now you need to stick to that story. If you go in today, you may upset your friend since she will think you were just playing. Also, you may upset your boss. Take your friend out to dinner or movie to thank her for covering for you. Don't let the sickness destroy your friendship; it's not worth that.

Stick to your story. If you go in later, it will look like you were making it up. Bring your friend in something nice tomorrow. Maybe a cup of coffee or a pastry in the morning or buy her lunch tomorrow. But definitely stay home!

nah, just stay home and return the favor to your co worker if she needs someone to cover for her. buy her a thank you card and give it to her when you return to work.

it's better to stay and recover fully than go and find out taht sickness returned and you have to take another day off or more to cure it
