lately when I run, I have found that my lower left shin muscle becomes so tight that I can't "roll" my foot like it should be. This in turn causes my calf muscle to tighten up and my left leg fatigues much faster than the rest of my body, thus ending my run far earlier than I would like. It also makes my leg hurt while I walk and I have to mentally concentrate on rolling my foot for about 10 minutes before I can walk normally.
I stretch properly before and after all of my runs and I vary the intensity of it so that I have days that are nice and easy.
What could be causing this, and how do I prevent it in the future?

That's strange that it's only your left leg. Before I run, I always walk on my toes for about an eighth of the track. That helps to strengthen your calf muscle and prevent shin-splints. Another thing-did you recently buy new running shoes or have you been running in different shoes? I recently bought a new pair, and when I was trying on different styles, I realized my knees started hurting as I did laps around the store. Although those shoes (the pair I didn't buy) were much cuter, I wouldn't be able to run properly in them. If you wanted to try a different shoe, the Asics GT-2110 is an amazing running shoe. I refuse to run in anything else. Good luck and happy jogging/running!!

i guess you dont go into the sport activity always, engage yourself in field or track exercise at least 1 to 2 hours everyday.

Help me in furthering my education, i am just 15years old and i have graduated from high school, but my mother is helpless since she is a single parent of 4 boys. I can do any good job to pay you back.

It is called shin splints. Best to lay off running for a while till it heals.

If you are a member of a gym, ask an adviser to have a look at your running technique to see if you favour one side of your body.
