I think he's funny sometimes on movies, when he's scripted, but when he's being interviewed his material blows and he becomes annoying. Anyone agree?

I totally agree. I watched an interview with him on Letterman a while ago, and he was jumping from one lame impression to another, never making sense cause he was trying waaaay too hard to be funny, and i was super annoyed.

What are you all talking about he has talent. He has picked up some strange roles over the years, yet ha has pulled them off so well. The man knows his drama as well as comedy.
He has done mainly family entertainment witch is fine. But to watch him live on stage performing a two hour stand up show, completely blows me away. He might be hard to relate to on certain aspects due to his global knowledge, yet he hits it right on top of the nail every time.
I would not go criticizing until you have gotten a good taste of what things are about. Then again taste and style Chane through time.
I used to think he over rated as well until I saw some of his other works.

Well...I guess it's just a matter of opinion.
I think he's funny. His standup is great!
I just respect Robin because the goofiest in comedy movies, but then he can go make a dramatic movie and pull them both off amazingly.

I saw him on Leno the other night and I thought he was hilarious, I almost pissed my pants. I don't think he is annoying to the audience but rather the interviewer. I would really loose my patience trying to talk to him.
