Very interesting! You know what would happen? This world would be a better place. Very creative idea.

That is a very cool analogy, I love it! I don't have a cell phone anymore, I'm so glad about that. Actually, I have my bible with me at work today, sometimes I bring it in when I'm having an especially hard day. Mine is very used, just the way it should be :)

you and grandma are sweet aren't you. For those who do believe it seems as though they would want to treat the bible like that. For myself I am a non believer but you make a valid point.

whoa, your grandma's deep!
here's some more!
how does god think up all the fingerprints that all the people in the world have?
does god have fingerprints?
if our earth is a spec in the huge universe, then one person is even smaller.
how big is an ant to that huge space?
how big is just one atom?
ummmm, i can't think of any more right now, but this is what i do when i can't sleep. i think up all these things and more.

I DO use my Bible the way I use my cell phone.
Of course, I rarely take my cell phone anywhere, don't use it unless I have to, and don't expect to hear the truth when I listen to it.
The Bible is an important book -- but I believe it is more a political manifesto than anything else.
The Roman Caesars claimed to talk to God when they gave rules to the people to follow. The Greek Kings claimed to talk to the Gods when they gave rules to the people to follow. The Japanese Emperors claimed to talk to the Gods when they gave rules ot the people to follow. Moses claimed to talk to God when he gave the people rules to follow. Pat Robertson claims to talk to God when he gives people rules to follow.
Why is it that people believe Moses, but not the others (I hope you haven't followed Pat Robertson's advice)?
