Superman's father Calm-El designed a spaceship to house Superman and in the first movie he traveled right through several suns.

So imagine that spaceship he was in with a porthole to reach out your hand once your inside the sun.

You'd probably get 1st degree burn or something.

The center of the sun is cooking in the nuclear fires at around 100 million degrees F. If a piece of the center of the sun the size of the head of a pin were brought down to earth (probably by UPS) the heat alone would kill every living thing within a hundred miles.

First off it would be way too hot to even get near the sun, you'd burn and melt and evaporate before you reach anywhere near it, secondly if you could somehow have some sort of life suit which can withhold the heat (which is impossible), the sun is not solid, its all gas, so it would be impossible to touch it anyway.

Well. In my religion we believe that everytime you touch the sun a fairy dies. Clapping your hands is the only way to bring them back, and somehow reach enlightenment.

thats physically impossible!! even if you get to the proximity of Mercury in relation to the sun or even try to get closer, you would burn up. there is no way that a human can get that close to the sun, unless your god!
