It's not meaningless. Lebanon has been harboring Hazbola terrorist for a long time and all they've been doing is shooting missiles at innocent Israelis. It's about time Israel kicked all their asses again. Hopefully it'll keep their land this time.

Hezbollah have positioned themselves within the civilian population. Israel are not targeting civilians but Hezbollah are. Hezbollah are responsible for Lebanese civilian casualties. Much of the increased hatred toward Israel is created by the biased reporting of the conflict by the British TV media. Terrorists are very good at exploiting (with the help of our media) civilian casualties, in order to have an effect on the gullible west.

I think you would probably have a different opinion if you were in Israel at the moment. Little has been said in media coverage about the numerous Hezbollah rockets that have been hitting Israel and about Israeli casualties.
And is the war really that mindless? Hezbollah has a history of committing terror attacks and siding with other terrorist organizations - I think it's time to bring it to a hault.
Plus, Hezbollah has a very strong and secure position in the Lebanese government - perhaps more than anyone knows.

What can it matter to them? They have been hated and attacked ever since Israel was founded, and since they are also Jews, they have been hated, hounded, and harassed from time immemorial.
You think that Hezbollah does not count on them "creating more" hatred? You think that hiding in amongst the civilian populations is not a plan to ensure that Israel's retaliation efforts will kill civilians, and thus increase hatred, as if total hatred could be increased?
Once you are hated for being existent, what is the point of being concerned about hatred?

Not until all the Terrorist are out of the region. The people you call innocent civilians are mostly Hezbollah dressed like civilians. It is the terrorist themselves that are responsible for the deaths of the "civilians" because the hide behind them, in their houses, schools, hospitals, etc. Only short sighted people don't understand that. So stop blaming Israel, and start blaming the real culprits in this, the Hezbollah. (That is of course if you are an intelligent, self thinking person, and not a blind lemming being led by the leftist media.)

I beg to differ with you. Israel is targetting the Hezbollah military which hide among the civilians which at times result in collateral damage. The Hezbollah on the other hand fire their rockets towards Israel indiscriminately, without aiming at military targets and causing innocent civilian casualties. Israel will stop this mindless war when and if the terrorists quit firing rockets at them and stop kidnapping Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Nope, would your country stop a war if it was attacked?
No sympathy towards the civillians - Isreal warns the population before they attack, unlike Hezbolla that send rockets indiscriminantly. Also Isreal attacks using its army wearing identifying uniforms, unlike Hezbolla who dress like civillians, hide amongst civillians and then uses the civillian deaths as propoganda.
Get real, all Isreal wants is not to be attacked, remember that it was Hezbolla that started this mess and only Hezbolla can end it - either they will disarm and release the prisoners of war or they will be destroyed.

Hezbollah intends to destroy Israel. Let Israel do what has to be done.
Hezbollah is fighting in civilian clothes so that when they are killed, they are considered a civilian.
Hezbollah is intentionally targeting populated areas but no one seems to object about this.

Yeah i know. You are right on that point. But somebody should definetly find an idea to finish and stop the hezbollah anyway. And they should be defending their countries against ennemies. But maybe they should find another way of doing so

It's people like you who are the reason cowards like Hezbollah hide behind civilians. It's mindless, all right.
