The Manics are my very favorite band, and I'm so excited to see this question because I live in the US and never get to talk about them with other fans!

What's your favorite album by them? Mine is probably The Holy Bible, though I really don't dislike any of them [although I still have listened to the full Lifeblood CD - I keep MEANING to]. My favorite song is Yes, though I reallllly love a lot of them.

I'm moving to Scotland in a month and part of the reason I am so excited to do so is because I will finally be able to see the Manics next time they tour! And before they do that, I'm definitely planning on seeing James and Nicky on their solo tours. Have you heard any of their solo stuff? I love James' CD - I got an early leak - and what I've gotten of Nicky's CD is very Nicky-esque. :D Its not bad, just not as catchy as James', you know?

Thanks for asking this question. I was very happy to answer it!

I love the Manics, but their last album was not very good, I'm afraid. Hopefully they'll be great again after they come back from their break. I have heard James Dean Bradfield's album, and it sounds great. I heard one track from Nicky Wire, and I don't think too much about that. Hopefully his album will be good as well. My favourite Manics track has to be "Motorcycle Emptiness", and I love the two songs they wrote for kylie. Great band, and hopefully they'll get even better. I love his voice.

They used to be okay, I like the holy bible album. I truly think they went downhill after that though.
