It doesn't really mean anything. If you guys are friends then he's just being your friend unless he's flirting with you then he might just have a crush on you too.

If you have a crush and if he talks to you then great it probably means that he is not repelled by you. Try asking him out or get to know him better. What more can you do at this stage?
