He is a TRAITOR to the USA and to the Democratic Party. He's been a backstabber and a Bush-supporter since he started. I hope he runs INdependent because even the GOP doesn't want him. GET LOST, LIEBERMAN! We never liked him.
He's lost most of the support in Connecticut, at 40% and head-to-head with Lamont (D). The irrelevant Repube Schlesinger only has 13% of support! LMAO!!

I find it mildly humorous the he is walking in lockstep with Bush at a time when even most Republicans are trying to get as far away from him as they can. He'll run as an Independent, and lose anyway, even with the financial backing of the Republican party that he's getting now. Lamont is a liberal Democrat in a liberal state. Lieberman is a moderate/neocon hawk. I, too, say "good riddance". With friends like that...

Unfortunately, the 12 Jewish Senators in congress have unilaterally supported Israel and any decision affecting Israel. The only nation that Iraq was a threat to was Israel. All of the Jewish senators supported both the war and the evil Patriot act.
I have no problem with Lieberman on most politics. I think he is a good man. However, I think all of the Jewish Senators have their integrity and objectivity compromised when dealing with issues in the middle east. They are loyal first to Israel, 2nd to the U.S. and lastly to the truth and to the good of all people.
So in that sense, you are correct--good riddence. Connecticut should be able to find a candidate as qualified yet not as biased by his religion. 12 Jewish senators, or 24% of congress representing 3% of the U.S. population is ridiculous--especially when it comes to issues regarding Israel. It's a shame too, because Lieberman really is a good man otherwise.

He'll go Independent. He's very liberal.
And just because he backs the President regarding the War on Terror and his support for Israel makes him some kind of persona non grata? Is this some type of beer hall putsch where anybody with any integrity or common sense gets drummed out of the party?

After the way the "Tolerent & open minded" (ha ha ha) democrats have treated him, I wouldn't blame him!
P.S. Hey Dr. Feelgood! You never answered the question! As a self-proclaimed "Berkley Liberal" which one of the protesters were you? I bet you were the androgynous one, weren't you! I sure wish you'd keep your clothes on in public. No one wanted to see breasts down past your belly button in the "Breast Not Bombs" march! OR a man's hyper-inflated scrotum!

I think people who are not able to take a real stance and call themselves "moderates" on most issues are cowards! He didn't vote against Bush's tax cuts and instead paraded his centrism to the point of seeming embarrassed by his party afï¬liation..Yeah Good riddance!!!
