I would like to get breast implants, what is the best way to pay for them if you can't afford to pay at once. What is it like? Were you scared? How long does it take to heal?

My cousin got a new credit card for the surgery only. But the office where she went does financing, but she could not qualify. So u may want to ask that. Her surgery was right at $6000. she reminds us of he expensive body part all the time. She went home the same day (it is outpatient surgery) She was very sore the first two days, I mean she groaned from the pain and kept popping her pain killers. Her very best day was the 1 week mark. She was actually trying to get out and do stuff. She said when she had the drain tubes removed that hurt like hell. But through the entire experience she said she was mostly nervous, never scared. Good luck on your endeavor!

You can pay with a credit card. Just keep in mind that you likely won't be having just one breast augmentation surgery. Studies show that most women go back & get a larger implant at some point. Also, depending on the type of implant used, there can be unwanted side effects necessitating more surgery. Implants only last a certain number of years and have to be removed/replaced at some point. Make very sure this is what you want, as it will get expensive.

I am getting it done. I just don't know when. I'm not scared, because I have had surgery before, and am probably going to have to have it on my knee and maybe my hip too. My boyfriend's dad is paying for it, so I have no idea how much it costs. Everyone is different, and you will need to have a followup appointment with your doctor to see how well you are healing. Good Luck!!

Find a surgeon in your area and ask him/her the same questions.
