HAHA! I don't think you can...it's kinda bright.
In California, on Dockweiler's Beach in Playa del Rey there are bonfires for about 1/4 mile at night. If you live out here, visit those ones, you just have to pay for parking.

Do it at night, in a relatively secluded place, and not on a beach. I think you might need permission to do it too, cause if you don't watch what you're doing, it could go out of control really quickly, and if you burn down half the forest, that'll get you in a lot of trouble.
