Dang good question...always happens though. I guess the old adage "You always hurt the one you love" is true. I have never figured it out myself. But I guess that just happens in all relationships..be it lovers or family members. We just happen to be there and they have no one else they know that will take the abuse.

Because they are using you as a sounding board to get their frustrations out. They know that you will still be there for them when they are done venting, and know that hopefully you won't take it too personally, because they are not really angry with you. It does however suck to be on the receiving end of things.

Usually to vent there anger at a safe subject. If they really knew how you felt about it they probably would ease off a little.

If there is any yelling in my house, there had better be blood flowing or a fire raging. Otherwise, someone is in deep chit!

We always hurt the ones we love. You are the closest one to vent at. We tend to take things out on the ones we love because the ones we love are supposed to understand & all that stuff...but it is hard to take.

because it makes them feel better...dont you yell at them when you are stressed
