I'd feel flattered by a drunken tot who is trying to butter me up by calling my perceptivity noteworthy.
"Perceptive" or "clear-eyed" would tickle my ego more than the obsequious word "perspicacious," which I find cloying and overly ornate.

Perspicacious means clear or transparent. I would feel that if someone who asked that question called himself Tommy the Turd he was being very transparent. I would wonder why anyone would portray them self as a piece of bowel movement. I would think that someone who called himself that had a very low self imagine and regard for their identity. I don't think it is a very pretty image. Do you?
