I've never been inside a WalMart store, and never will shop there. Consider what this company does:

1. Fights its employees efforts to unionize so that it can continue to pay them minimum wages and provide minimal (if any) benefits, just so four of Sam Walton's descendants can stay on Forbes' list of the top ten richest people in the world;
2. Treats its Chinese employees like virtual slaves;
3. Builds new stores in small communities that put small independent retailers out of business;
4. Refuses to become a good corporate citizen by joining the local Chamber of Commerce or supporting other worthwhile community endeavors;
5. Browbeats small municipal governments into giving tax breaks and special incentives;
6. "Low-balls" popular items to give the impression of "low prices -everday" - but on less popular items, prices are about the same as anywhere else;
7. Pays out millions to hire lobbyists who encourage Congress to keep the minimum wage as low as possible for as long as possible;
8. Now wants to sell insurance and financial services to its low-income customers (at high profit margins);
9. Tears up rich farm land just so it can build more superstores;
10. Probably pays less in federal taxes, proportionately, than most of its customers pay.

WalMart is a piece of crap. Boycott is the only solution. -RKO-

No way. No real American should shop a walmart. They do nothing but shut down American factories because it's cheaper to make it in China where they don't have to pay people. Walmart used to be mostly American when Sam was alive, not it just sucks. The service is lousy, the products are cheap priced and cheap made.

Pretty much everything we buy originated from some 3rd world country so I wouldn't be ganging up on ol WalMart.

And yes I have shopped at WalMart...
There isn't any in my area. There are Longs Drugs, Target & Walgreens but no Walmart...

You know what-I like Wall mart. And about the Chinese piece of crap- who do you think runs these companies and decided to outsource them there-Americans. Instead of thinking about this why don't you think about current events and the killings of babies, children and women in Lebanon by these stupid Israeli. They say Israeli suffered lost and three solders were killed- whop te doo- each time they strike a Lebanon city they kill hundreds of civilians
