Anybody who says they have NEVER told just a tiny lie has to be lying themselves...I'd love to find the person who has never stretched the truth at all.

No.

We learn how to lie before we learn how to talk. A baby will consciously start crying when there is nothing wrong, knowing that the parent will come and give it the attention it wants long before the baby is even beginning to speak.

I'd be amazed if you could find someone who didn't lie (not even a small, tiny, infinitesimal lie) at least once a day. When a homeless person asks if you have any change and you say "Sorry, no," you're lying. When you cut someone up in your car and then claim it wasn't your fault, you're lying. It's unavoidable. Everyone's a liar. The only issue here is to what degree.

i tell the truth constantly now but only because i am a bad liar...lol

as for learning how to lie...im not sure...kids dont develop real logic till about 12 yrs old but you can teach younger children the basics...like if you do this...this will happen...doesnt always work though and while i have caught my 3 yr old stretching the truth once or twice i dont know if he learned it from his older sibling , didnt know what he was really doing or if it was just self-preservation instinct ~ ie knowing something bad could come of it he tried to avoid it by lying (the fight or flight instinct)

normally he is honest to a fault ~ and i think its because he doesnt know how to lie or doesnt see his parents doing it

there's no such thing as a person who doesn't lie. humans suck like that. we probably know it automaticly once we learn how to talk.
