for example......if youre at yahoos home page and youre using the search engine, your search history will be there. so if you searched "pirates of the carribean" last week and you start to type "pir...." again today, the rest of the phrase will come up. how do you delete all of your history??

thanks but im using mozilla firefox and i think its a little bit different than internet explorer...........thanks though!

Disable all AutoComplete settings:

1. From Internet Explorer, choose "Tools" then "Internet Options".
2. From the "Internet Options" multi-tabbed dialog box that appears, select the "Content" tab.
3. Click the "AutoComplete" button.
4. Uncheck everything.
5. Click the "Clear Forms" button.
6. Click the "Clear Passwords" button.
7. Press "OK" to close the dialog boxes

U can delete the history of search bar on ur homepage (whatever it is either Yahoo! or Google) by following this path. Tools> internet options> content> auto complete> clear forms. To stop the generation of history uncheck the box of forms.

To delete address bar history, follow this path. Tools> internet options> general > clear history > set the number of days to zero> ok.

U can delete the search history on ur yahoo toolbar this way. click the arrow in the search box. Select options, click clear history. Follow this path also. Pencil> toolbar options> uncheck the boxes of enable auto complete and enable history> ok.
It will solve ur all search related problems.

What you mean if you went to google and typed in "se..." or "por..."? lol You get the idea?

Well if you using Internet Explorer go to Tools>Internet Options>Content>Auto complete and look for deleting auto complete history.

i dont think theres a way to remove only the search engine history.to clear the search history u gona need to clear your browser history .else Webroot's Window Washer is a good option..No hastle really.
