The problem with doing all that stuff at work is that you are more closely watched there and people are more apt to notice inconsistancies...I try to get rid of ALL my bad habits and traits at work b/c it doesn't take mor ethan one slip-up to be fired....so I think that bad traits should be left at the door.

If you find that you have to act in a different manner than you would normally then the question should be why is that so? The fact that you are changing what you normally do suggests that you're actions are in the wrong and deep down you know it. So perhaps you should just stop doing it altogether. Being at work is a good guide to who you really are.

you really have to be true to ones own self, as for work well do you really think your employers care enough to want to know the real you? or do they just want the job they hired you to do done to the best of your ability. I find the best place to be yourself is with family or close friends.

Work places are not for private relationships.
Truth should be reserved for those who want that closeness with you.
