Is lime wire any good????

If your looking for a basic file sharing program Lime wire is a good choice. But be careful! Make sure you have a descent anti-virus program. Also some things that come up when you search for something are not what the title say they are. I found one item that is 1,050 kilobytes that has many different names on it, last I counted it had 23 different names and it is a pain to get rid of and stop. You'll find it under media just to let you know. Hope this helps.

My friend has it and she loves it. Sometimes, though, the songs come out funny because the people who upload them change them in some way. But other than that I've only heard good things about it. Just don't get caught ;)

it's ok i have only used the free version and you should try to limit yourself to downloading a few files at a time for optimal speed. Also I disable uploads to protect my computer. after you search, go to the right hand side where it tells you the modem speed and only select t1 or t3 or cable. this will get you in and out faster too.

yeah...except I allways end up with a corrupt installation (I've installed it 4 times) so this error message pops up like mad....
but even if you dont like limewire, DO NOT USE KAXA (the key to the left of the x is missing)...that will give you viruses up the ***
but anyways, you can find almost anything on limewire, and its 100% free!
def recommmend it even though you will probably get a corrupt installation

I love it... but I stuck with the older version instead of updating to the newer one. Limewire tried to hype the newer version, but they actually took away some of the best features. If you can get your hands on an older version, go for it.

its OK if you know how to use it which i don't every time i go on it my PC crashes :( good for downloading pics and mp3s and ring tones on your phone if you have the wires to go into your phone and tower

its the best.
the problem depends on what you download.. so the user is the problem not the software.
if u download the right stuff, it'll work out perfect.
