A friend learned this trick from a proffesional acne person. She tried it and said it worked perfectlly.
1. Mix plain, un-cooked oatmeal with juice from 1 squeezed lemon until they form a paste.
2. put it all over your face.
3. Leave it on for 30 minutes.
4. Wash it off with warm water.
Hope it works!

The most popular home made mask is an oatmeal mask It is a simple, completely safe mask, and it works perfectly for people with oily skin. The ingredients are as follows:
1/3 cup of regular or fast cook oatmeal (1-3 minutes)
¼ cup of honey
½ cup of water
Mix the water and the oatmeal together, and cook. Then, set the oatmeal aside to cool and thicken. As it is cooling, mix in the ¼ cup of honey. Once the mask is well mixed and cool, apply a thin even layer to the skin.
Be careful when applying this mask around the eyes. Though completely safe, the oatmeal can cause slight eye irritation. Better yet, place a used tea bag over the eyelids to reduce any redness or eye irritation.

Match Mask to Your Skin Type
For trouble-prone skin, mix oatmeal with water to form a paste.
For normal to oily skin, use an egg white.
For dry skin, use an egg yolk.
In all cases, spread mixture on face and allow to dry. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
For oily skin, witch hazel makes an inexpensive toner.
For dry skin, you may want to add moisturizer while skin is still damp.

If it's too watery, just cook it some more and add a bit of oatmeal to it until it is thick enough. You didn't use enough oatmeal.
Incidently, oatmeal as cereal instead of processed boxed cereals will give you a FAR better complexion.
Also keep the greasy makeup which makes your skin MORE oily, OFF of your face Use MILD soaps if ANY on your skin. Rinse your skin with cool, clean water several times a day instead.

Oatmeal Scrub:
1tbsp. ground oatmeal (not the instant kind)
1tsp. lemon juice
2tsps. yogurt
Combine the ingredients in a small bowl. Splash your face with warm water, then use your fingers to work the oatmeal scrub all over your face. Use a gentle circular motion and never apply force or tug your skin. Afterward, rinse your face with warm water. Dry your face with a smooth and dry face towel. u will see the result. Use this twice a week...and use also Cetaphil, serve this as your soap, use it everyday.

sound like you added too much water. tri it again and make sure you don't use hot water. stir it for about thirty seconds and they apply to the skin but before you do that put a warm wet towel over you face to open the pores and moisturized the face and the oatmeal will stick better.

you dont just make the oatmeal mix and then put it on your face silly girl!!!! You actually have to make it like oatmeal is made. If you have instant oat meal then you need to put it in the microwave for 3 minutes. Then you should probably but it in the frige because it will burn your face. That happend to me and I had this huge burn mark on my cheek. ='[.

Mix it with a little bit of milk and honey. Honey gives it some consistency so it would not drip. Remember to use a lot of oatmeal.
