when they are hired do they need to know any fighting at all?
I mean where they once martial artists, boxers, wrestlers, or just strippers!

Before all of this "WWE Diva Search" nonsense, new WWE Diva's would have been aware about in-ring training from day one! It wouldnt have been an exact requirement that they have prior experience. But they would have been made aware that the job requires PHYSICAL interraction. Diva's like Trish and Torrie for instance were all trained apon being hired. They were both physically and mentally aware!
In all honesty it has to be said that all these NEW diva search winners, besides last years winner Ashley. Don't seem that prepared physically. They come across as just wanting to prance about in their underwear. When physicality is definatley a requirement.

Most Divas started out by learning martial arts, etc. not all (if any at all) were strippers

alot of divas have a background as dancers,whether it be strippers or cheerleaders.i highly doubt any fighting i required but it might help because its less for company to teach you. but for the most part if you're willing to wear nearly nothing, get clawed, get some hair pulled out and shake your junk, you're good to go.

i dont know.... if u wanna be a diva in the wwe like for example mickie james or beth phonix or wat ever u would have to go train like in ovw or something if u wanna be in the wwe hmmm like lita she had to train in mexico...i guess u have to train and know how to wrestle and have to know how to act and have to have a very good personaly so u could entertain the fans oh and be buitiful .....but theres another difference if you have a pretty face great personality and u join the wwe diva search (wich i belive is a waste of time) you dont have to know how to wrestle ....wich isnt fair for the divas who had to work there a** of.....so if you wanna take the easy rode u should consider the wwe diva search ....hey ill vote for ya.....i know my answer doent make sence but waht ever

They need a bit of training yes but obviously they dont wrestle that much just dance half naked.

Well judging from kell's dancing (ECW), she definantly wasn't a stripper! As long as they are willing to look like hoes, they are in!
