you hear a lot about t.o. and his attitude and there is no doubt he was childish last year. but i think he was somewhat justified. after his performance in the superbowl (by the way mcnabb choked), i think the eagles should have made him the highest paid reciever. even though he was "misquoted" you cant deny that his performance was kind of heroic, not enough to win the game, but still heroic. im a cowboys fan to the heart, but with drew bledsoe and a weak offensive line (recipe for great d-line stats) will t.o. ultimately just be the same t.o. of last year or will jerry jones accomidate his new "desperate" move?

T.O. will not be the same man you saw last year, working out for the press in his driveway, and thats because of the following reasons:

1. it's his first year in Dallas. Just like his first year in philly T.O. will play with his mouth shut and earn his money

2. Owens is going to try to proove everyone wrong and get along with teammates in the locker room, cause if Owens enjoys anything other than playing football its prooving people wrong.

3. I am not a patriots fan but i am from new england so ive seen bledsoe under center for a while and he will not hesitate to appologize to Owens about not giving him the ball enough keeping Owens happy.

He was NOT justified, you don't go whining about a new contract after one season.

If T.O. knows what's good for him, he'll shut up and play ball. I wouldn't hold my breath for that, though. It may be better for the Cowboys if he runs his mouth sooner rather than later, that way the Cowboys can dump him and move on. They won't be a playoff team as long as T.O. is around.

If T.O. has a very good season, then he will want to renegotiate. It's up to J.J. to decide whether or not the team can tolerate Terrell not being happy. The greater concern however, is if he doesn't get passes that he can catch. I don't blame the 'Boys from taking a chance on him. But they are playing with dynamite.

I think this year he will do fine because last year he realized if he runs his mouth too much his team just won't pay him anymore like the eagles did, which was more than justified. Heroic or not, he just signed a huge contract a year earlier and it is usually a good idea to repeat as a superstar so they know you aren't a fluke.

to is the single most gifted receiver in the NFL. problem is he is also the single best talker as well. he has a huge ego and thinks he is just delivering the facts.
nobody will ever say he failed to produce on the field. he is poison in the locker room.
i don't think he can or is willing too rein in his mouth so the only real question is can the cowboys put up with him long enough (three years) to get that ring? and i think the only club that could do it is Dallas.

If Bledsoe stays healthy and the revamped Cowboys O-line can keep Bledsoe off his back and throwing the ball, I think TO will be able to keep his mouth shut.

OTOH - if Bledsoe gets hurt, look for TO's mouth to explode.

Terrell is always going to be Terrell. After about week 5 Parcells is going to get fed up with him enough to bench him. Overall he hurts a team, even though he's probably the most skilled receiver in the NFL.

T.O. is just a typicall black from the ghetto which shows in his attitude. He will probably make the Cowboys look bad and they will dump him after one season.

If he shuts up, he will be a valuable team member. But will he? I doubt it. Maybe for a little while, but eventually he will start running his mouth. This is his last chance, I think. If he can't shut up, it will probably be the end of his football career.

Money will never make T.O. shut up, he has always had that. If anyone or anything makes him shut up, it will be Bill Parcells. And I wouldn't count on that.
