In case you hadn't realized First Answerer, Tom Brady also calls all the plays on offense in the absence of Charlie...and I might add, that in his first year in doing so, actually got a higher QB rating than previous. Tom Brady has the BEST QB vision in perhaps a while in the NFL and is the most competitive...he ball handling skills are not Peytons level admittedly...but the fact that he can carry a team soley on offense into the playoffs says a great deal about his ability as a player...and the worst part is...hes only getting better and better...did I mention his shoulder is still F'd up.

I think that Carson Palmer is going to be great i n the future , but the best QB I had to say Peyton Manning. Manning had a best rate for a pocket passer , he is also a field general, he will be a threat if you let him in the pocket safely.I think McNabb dumbest QB in the NFL ,unlike McNabb, Culpepper is going bounce back in 2006, be cause got target like chris chamber ,randy Mcmichael , so the most overated QB is no doubt Peyton Manning.

When people list the Greatest QBs of all time, they talk about Elway, Staubach, Starr, Aikman, Montana, Young, Bradshaw, etc. All of these guys have one thing in common, big fat super bowl rings on their fingers. I'm probably one of the bigger Peyton fans around, but when someone asks me about the best QB, the answer is without a doubt Brady. With 3 championships already, and last year proving he could put up MVP quality stats, Brady is the all around best QB in the game today. The most overrated QB in the game is easily Marc Bulger.

I agree that Culpepper is overrated. His advantage was his mobility and his size. Now that he is no longer as mobile, his inability to read defenses and his bad decision making are only becoming magnified. I would add Brett Favre to the overrated list. He might still win a few games he's supposed to lose but his risk-taking and raggedy play is costing Green Bay an equal number of games they should win, as well.
As for the current best QB - If I had one game to win and had to choose any current QB to lead my team, it would be Tom Brady.

i hate the patriots, i hate this man but the best QB in the NFL has to be Tom Brady.
Brady wins, simple as that. But also his vision to hit the open man is phenominal. Brady gets the ball to every reciever, i wouldnt be surprised to see him throw a pass to Rodney Harrison on the sidelines and when asked why he did so he'd reply "because he hasnt caught the ball yet today". When a quarterback spreads the ball like Brady, it opens the field the defense isnt looking for a T.O. or a Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith etc. to catch the ball. It also opens the run game because you have to respect the pass. Brady knows the formula to winning and that is why he is the best at his position. god i hate him.

I think the best in the league right now is Tom Brady. I especially like how he is going to bat for his receiver, who btw was the superbowl mvp. There's no reason that Branch should settle for a million this year.
Most over-rated... Joey Harrington. You know Culpepper is going to go down this year to injury, and people still think Harrington can play. He's been Mr. Over-rated since he left college.

The best is Tom Brady. The most overrated is peyton manning, if he wasn't surrounded by great receivers he wouldn't be crap.(He is also the greatest big game choker ever)

champions are the best QBs, so there is no doubt that Tom Brady is the current best. But as far as skill it has to be Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning because he calls the plays too. He doesn't have as much around him as Brady.
