is kissing your girl bestfriend on the lips normal? because i have a cousin who's asking me if it's normal... because they kiss each other on the lips. i told her that smacking is normal, only on occasions... she said she feels that they're already making out... also she said they've done it only twice, but, half of those times, they were french kissing. her bestfriend was the one initiating it. so please help, she's rather nervous because she's thinking she's not conforming with the norms of the society and that she's afraid to lose her bestfriend... it bothers her so much...she can't sleep nor eat right anymore...also, both of them are single.

This is a problem that she needs to discuss with her mother, because mothers are the ones who understand us and never want what's bad for us. She can advise her, but she has to follow her heart and make the right decision. I think it isn't normal to do that because they are the same gender and most of the times I think girls go with boys...you know...If she feels uncomfortable because of that, she should tell her so called best friend and tell her that she doesn't find this normal and she isn't a lesbian and just break that friendship before it's too late. It's up to her now. Only she knows what she really feels and concerning the society norms, well...neither society or the church agree with this and I don't think it will, but I saw they don't do anything concerning it. Good luck :)

There is no sisterly way... Haha. Well when I was 12 I kissed my ex bf sister. He was 14 and she was 17 and he still doesn't know til this day and I am 17 now. Crazy right? It doesn't mean you're lesbian or bisexual. Its your own choice. And to be honest since kissing her 5yrs ago I'm not gonna lie. It made me like girls. so of course. I'm bisexual. But the rest is up to you. You can still be straight and kiss her. Its how YOU FEEL.

Maybe a small peck but a french kiss that seems a little extreme your cousin should just tell her friend that she feels uncomfortable and if the friend gets upset and doesnt want to be her freind anymore then she wasnt a friend to begin with maybe.

I assume that they are both female......
It's normal to be curious. It could be a phase, or she might be bi or gay. Bi is when one is attracted to both sexes, and gay is when one is exclusively attracted to the same sex only. All people alive are at least (secretly) bi-curious, but are taught to be afraid to expolre that feeling. There is nothing wrong with it. A best friend is someone you can trust and usually the one to experiment with. In fact, most first sexual encounters occur with a best friend of the same sex. It's ok to "not conform to the societal norms". If you are afraid to, or raised to, then you might have to keep it your and your best friend's "little secret" unless you are prepared to deal with other peoples' ignorance ond cruelty.

If she agreed to kiss, so it was done intentionally by her. She must decide for herself if she really likes that guy, otherwise she will play a dangerouse game and probably will be left by both.

I guess if she likes what they're doing, it's ok. If not, she need to let her best friend know that she doesn't feel it's right. It's better to lose her friend than go with the flow, and pretend like she's ok with all this kissing.

yes its normal all of us will try new and exciting things it is a bad idea with your best friend though trust me I've been there it is fun while it lasts but is regretful in the long run....now me and my 'best friend" are more like enemies so take it from someone who has been there...... if they don't want to rein their friendship don't do it.
