I have asked this question once before and had it removed (I think for adult content). But please...it is a serious question and I really want to know. So...I am trying again with different language. When making love, do lesbian couples use some sort of appliance to achieve pentration? Or is it mostly touch or something else? Is the use of devices some sort of male fantasy found only in porn flicks?
I am posting this here due to the YA standards that says a question may be allowed in one forum but not another. Thank you for your help, and my apologies if this offends any one. I am trying to better understand the lesbian community. I know being a lesbian is more of a state of mind than a particular action.

I used the euphamism "appliance" because I think what got me removed was the words "$trap-on$" and $ex Toy$" But this is not meant to be juvenile smut talk. Thanks for serious answers...and if the word appliance gave you a laugh...good for you LOL. Whatever you do don't make love to a blender on "puree."

I do know how to please my partner. I also understand the concept of oral sex and a clitoris. but I wasn't sure if my reference to oral sex is what got my original question deleted. Thanks for the comment.

As far as why I want to know...an understanding of the diversity of human nature is a big step towards acceptance of many different ways to live.

There is more to sex than penetration. Much, much more. In fact, the vast majority of women don't need any penetration at all to achieve orgasm.
Devices do exist and are certainly commonly used. However, they are generally unecessary and mostly just used to spice things up.
Personally, I've found that I can do a lot more with a single finger than I ever could with any sort of device.
If you are looking for information, there is a book called "The On Our Backs Guide to Lesbian Sex" which contains instructions for a very wide variety of sexual practices. You could learn quite a bit from a book like that.

My partner of 25 years and I occasionally use a dildo,, but not very often. Our love over the years relies much more on the touch, love and companionship. We kiss, tongue, touch like most heterosexual couples. She uses her fingers and tongue to send me and I do friction with her. After all, we know each other pretty well. Well, every woman has different interests. Some women like penetration, some other like clitoris stimulation, some like both at the same time, some like one and not the other, some like it fast/slow, or c l i t- c l i t...Now that being said, to please a woman (depending on what she likes), you can use your fingers, hands, tongue or toys. Some are hardcore and use God knows what...LOL (it's never been my case). It's very important to use foreplay before actual sex, well at least for me and the girls I've been with.

I do not use toys anymore. I've tried them, and they absolutely suck, so I decided a while ago that I don't need them. Not all woman in general, lesbian or straight need penetration to achieve an orgasm. Clitoral stimulation is plenty, to please many women. And being a lesbian, is a state of the soul, not just of the mind.
