It's a very difficult thing to choose the best ever... but for me, i would deffinatly have to say Tupac... other than him i would have to say Eminem... deffinatly the 2 best rappers in my opinion... but thats just me... who would you say and why?

Eminem is number one of all time. His raps are about all his emotions making everything he comes up with deep, funny, sad and just plain worth listening to.
Tupac is another man with an amazing contribution to the rap world. He lives on as a legend - probabaly one of the most respected persons in music.
And other rappers I enjoy listening to (although most are just fluff and will die out soon) are Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco, Snoop Dogg (I know - he's awful, but some tunes are catchy) and Sean Paul (although he is the only one that can really give you a headache with too much!).

1st off... Most of the highly revered artists who have passed away are dope. Big L, Biggie, Pac, Pun, and E (in a gutta way)
But why is it that nobody said Lil Wayne. He's one of the best lyricist and will always keep the south afloat. I would also have to say Lupe, TI, Jigga, and Rhymefest.

It is difficult to choose the best ever, I have my favorites though.....Easy E, B.I.G., Too Short, Snoop, E-40, Eminem and Luda. I really like their voice and rap styles.

I like Tupac's work too. I am also thinking of Grand Master Flash and his "It's like a Jungle". I give him extra points for being on the cutting edge.

Apart from the late Biggie Smalls, I would have to vote for Ludacris. The man has talent with his sharp and witty lyrics.
