People who are assertive are taking some action to the problems they face. They dont keep quiet and are involved in some action. Taking no action keeps you negatively energized and does nothing to change the global problem.Hence they face others with their ideas. But you have the right to accept it or not

It's the feeling that if only they're cute enough and good enough and worthy of love this other person will change when the bald fact is that people only change for themselves.

Because we were told that love can over come anything, that love alone will see us through and help us get through any problems or troubles that we may have in our relationships and family. And that if someone really loves you, they will want to change and they will want to be a better person because of meeting you, loving you, and wanting you in their life.... I haven't quite decided if this is total bs... or if I haven't found the 'ONE' to really love me yet............ if they exist at all, and if love really exists at all.... between 2 people I mean.

I have always wondered the same thing because the only person you can change is yourself......And usually by doing that , that will make the changes in the other person naturally.....

i'm not sure. people think if you care about them enough, you shouldn't do things that hurt or upset them, and want you to change that. they don't understand that you're not trying to hurt them with that action, but it's who you are and if THEY care about you, they would accept how you act/what you do (in most cases). They only way for someone to change is for him/her self to recognize and see a problem (if it is a problem) and want to change for themselves...

Bc they have no idea & hope for the best. I understand that you cant make someone change for you, it'll only happen if that person honestly wants the change

Because people who think like that are selfish and only care about themselves..One me, two me, three me and so on....
They usually think they are the only ones who are right in everything!
Better don't loose time with them!
