you have to download the new versions of yahoo and msn..it takes a while to figure out im still learning but both the messengers come with a whole bunch of new features..and you have to make sure its the msn messenger Beta and yahoo beta you download

First, you need a friend who has Yahoo! Messenger with Voice Beta (the new version of Messenger). You need Windows Live Messenger Beta (the new version of MSN Messenger). I think once you put them in your address book and vice versa, you can talk to each other.

you can't they are totally diferent networks-- there for they can't communicate between each other.
what i would suggest is getting a Trillian messanger. it works with different networks at the same time.
