I was out the whole day biking and I got an awesome tan and my skin is pretty light. I would say do smthg for like four hours or more, dont just lay in the sun. Get exercise. Swim, Bike, go to a park. When you get home you will be surprised with a great tan. Good luck.

O and by the way sunscreen doesnt help you tan that much. But you might need it cuz your light. Try a lower spf like 15 or even 4 sometimes works. Try tanning oil later as you get darker.

Well it depends on if u have a base or not if u have a base tan it is easier to get a dark tan but i would say stay in the sun for about in hour on each side even if its kind of cloudy you can still get a tan

No it doesn't...sunscreen prevents bad uv rays from damaging your skin cells...and it depends what kind of skin you have for how long you should stay out side. The darker your natural pigment is, the longer your body can handle the sun...also make sure you rotate from laying face down or face up every twenty minutes or so.

sunscreen does not help you to get a tan. try bronzing tanner. carrot spray works so good to get a tan! i have some in the b-room and it works so great! don't use anything until u go to the store and get something for a tan. stay out there until it gets a little dark. then go inside and look at your tanline! lol.

It doesn't stop you from getting a tan, it blocks harmful rays. Depending on the SPF, you'll get better tanning or worse. The higher you go, the better. If you stay out long enough you'll still get a tan with a high SPF. Be careful, and re-apply! ;)

everyone is different...sunscreen wont prevent u from tanning all it does it block the uv rays from ur skin so u dont burn....the only way it will prevent u form getting a tan is if it has zinc oxide in it..thats 100% sun coverage....as for how long will it take u to get a tan it depends on the melonin (color pigments) in ur skin...some peoples melonin reacts faster then others
