there is 1 woman in nascar, danica patrick
there is no woman currently active in formula 1 although they have launched a formula woman series to help women thru lower ranks
the last woman to be in formala 1 was giovanna amatti, an italian lady who left teh brabham team to make way for none other than 'damon hill'

Erin Crocker drives in NASCAR'S Busch Series.
Danica Patrick drives in the Indy Car Series.
As far as I know there are no female drives in F1.There is a young lady who drives in the Rolex Sports Car Series,her name is Milka Duno she is from Caracas Venezuela.This young lady is very successfull she has won races and also has a championship under her belt.I only heard of her last week,there was an article in the local paper about her because the Rolex Series raced in Birmingham Alabama last week.Milka is an extremely attractive young lady surpassing Danica Partrick.Check her out at .http://www.milkaduno.com/ .These are the only three female drivers at major levels that I am aware of.It won't be long before we see more in NASCAR at least ,because they are working to find and bring on board new women drivers.Personally I feel like it will only help our beloved sport.

No idea about nascar.
None in F1, and I would be surprised to see one in 10 years' time. Please don't take that as an insult, but it seems that females still struggle finding their way towards a F1 cockpit.
