I have recently realized that I am doing this. I had been thinking about this person and then I saw him the next day. Then I was thinking about this other person and I saw him last night. I never see these people until I start to think about them. This has happened often and I was wondering if you all had similar experiences.

I have absolutely done that! You think about someone you haven't talked to in months & they call you on the phone the next day.
The most extream one was when I got a Myspace account- I got a message one day from a girl whos name was the same as my best friend from elementary school- who I hadn't talked to in 10+ years- It turned out to be someone else- but it made me think of her- the next day she sent me a message telling me that she all of a sudden thought of me and decided to look me up. wierd!

To test:
Generate a list of people. Each day, pick a person, flip a coin to determine whether you are going try to manifest them (heads yes, tails no).
Keep records as to whether you see each person the next day (or two - just pick a time and STICK WITH IT).
Then, see if there's a difference between the "heads" group and the "tails" group. Ideally you should statistically test any difference, but at least you can get a ballpark estimate.
Only by this or a similar procedure will you know if you are simply experiencing "confirmation bias" - a bias towards finding and remembering confirming data, and against finding and remembering disconfirming data.

What probably happens is you thnk about people all the time, but only place any importance on it when you see them the next day.

dude i know what you mean -- all i have to do is tell my husband my dad hasnt called in a while& poof he calls. i have also dremt of ppl & see them the next day - it gets spooky sometimes!!!
