Who is fed up of hearing from these idiots stating :"Oh, its so terrible, Lebanon is being attacked people are being killed." and in the same sentence then state "Hezbolla can attack Isreal, hide umongst civillians and commit suicide attacks - no problem"?

When will they realise that it can't be one rule for one and one rule for another?

I'm not choosing sides here, just think that they don't deserve any sympathy because they (Hezbolla) started this mess (by kidnapping and killing soldiers - an act of war in any country) and the only way to stop it is if Hezbolla disarm, release the prisoners of war and Isreal goes home.

From another perspective, if a wastern country was attacked in exactly the same way and defended itself by a bombing campain, would the side that attacked first get any sympathy? Thinking back to when the US bombed Libya over a terrorist attack that killed a few soldiers a couple of years ago.

The whole thing is a shameful, filthy mess, that's true. The reason why sympathy falls behind Hezbollah is becuase of the lack of proportion involved: small rocket fire Vs mass air strikes. Tacitly, it's also because armed Islamic revolt against Israel is nothing new in the region. You must remember, also, that Hezbollah have denied hiding among civilians, and the only reports of them having done so come from the IDF and Israeli sympathiser news outlets. The same people who said a hospital had fighters in it.
You're right though, there needs to be a sense of shared cupability here.

This particular period of history has the ability for the world to destroy itself. No one wins in a war. Property can be restored, but even a lifetime is not long enough to resolve grief over a lost loved one.

Since Muslims, Jews and Christians believe in the messiah, maybe praying for the messiah to come and bring lasting peace before the world destroys itself would be a win-win-win solution

"Idiots"...!!! Bad start.

Hezbollah are as we have BNP supporters living amongst us here. Except with guns!!

Its a different world out there I guess. Israel excessive force will someday come back to haunt them rest assured as will Hezbollah's military approach in this war.

A war or The Lord himself turning up will resolve this story. Best they can do is settle their score man for man and not helicopter gunships from miles above. No wonder Hezbollah see it fair to send their dodgy unguided missiles.

hezbolla really is devilish in its operations. rather than looking at the results, lets look at the intents. how can you just desire to anhilate a race from the earth? how can you hate a people just because they are not the same as you? they really do not want an end to the war. they want the war!

You are right, as long as you hold the same for Israel. Israel cannot be allowed to bomb innocent civilians without repurcussion. Both sides are wrong in this conflict. (unfortunately, right now, Israel is making itself more wrong with the way it is attacking anybody and everybody that moves over there, including clearly marked humanitarian aid workers).

You are absolutely correct. But understand this: Most of the cable channel so-called "news" channels are nothing but rating and ad-chasing greedhogs. If we are using them for our news, mercy on us and our intelligence.

It may also be that Hezbollah, desperate for world help, is using the channel with Chicken Noodle channel to promote its own cause, because it is in the danger of being marginalized like Al-quaida and other muslim pig clubs.

No war can be fought without collatoral damage.

It's a simple fact.

Civilians will stop dying when the war ends.
