~MAKEUP~
Things you may need: Foundation, Foundation Brush, Concealer, Powder, Blush, Eye shadow, Lip Brush, Mascara, Lip Gloss...
-Start out simple, you don't have to go all dramatic at first, like in this picture: http://www.grooveeffect.com/images/natural-makeup.jpg - this girl just has foundation (maybe concealer), powder, mascara, and lip balm, and maybe a bit of blush, :) but her makeup looks beautiful.
*Application*
-Foundation: Choose a foundation that blends perfectly or is just BARELY darker than your skin tone - if you'll be having pictures taken, you'll want the one that's a little darker. Use your fingertips (specifically your middle and ring finger) or a foundation brush (found at Sally's and most Beauty Supply stores) - for me it's easier to use fingertips when applying my own makeup. To apply, dot the area you'll start with, such as your forehead, then apply evenly over your entire forehead, same goes with the rest of your face, but be tender around the eye area. Apply 1/4 down your neck.
-Concealer: Try this one, as directed, you can find it in most grocery and drug stores: http://www.physiciansformula.com/detail_list.asp?itemid=02467&scene=CONCEALERS&categorid=110 - apply on under eye circles (sometimes using rolling movements with your pinky finger is easiest) and other places as needed.
-Powder: Apply over foundation, using a large blush brush.
-Blush: For a natural look, choose one that's slightly darker than your skin tone. Use a large blush brush in sweeping motions to apply directly under and in the same direction of your cheek bone (you can find the exact place by making a fish face in the mirror). Then apply on the plump part of your cheeks, (find this area by smiling).
-Eye Shadow: For a natural look, choose colors that are slightly darker and/or slightly lighter than your skin tone. Apply a very light color from eyelid to brow bone. In your crease, apply a slightly darker color. For me, it's easier to apply on my eyelid and crease using a dampened lip brush that's been sweeped back and forth in the shadow - this technique also gives it a slightly richer look and helps it to stay on longer. But above the creas to the browbone it's best to use a eyeshadow brush or applicator so that it goes on lighter.
--Here is a chart that shows where to apply the darker and lighter shades, as well as your blush:
http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/looks/look.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY19465 - this is just a guide, you don't have to go out far to the corners or as dark as shown here, you can start out light at first.
-Mascara: Choose a mascara that has a brush with lots of bristels close together such as this one shown in this pic on the far left: http://www.covergirl.com/cgcollection/eyes/mascara/mini_fantasticlash/index.jhtml
-Lips: For a natural look, just use a pink to dark pink or peachy lip gloss over your lips - most of them have great applicators, otherwise use a lip brush.

SO WHAT SEASON IS MY SKIN TONE?
To determine what colors will look best on you, you must first analyze your skin tone, natural hair color and eye color.
1.To determine the undertone color of your skin, look at the inside of your arm in natural daylight.
2.Then decide which season most accurately describes your complexion based on the list below.
3.The list below will act as a guideline of colors and shades that will work best for you.
THE FOUR SEASONS
There are 4 seasons of skin tones divided into warm and cold tones. Cool tones are Winter and Summer complexions. Warm tones are August and Spring Complexions.
Winter (Cool Tone)
You are a winter tone if the inside of your arm has blue or pink/rosy undertones:
·Skin can be pale and porcelain white, yellowish-olive, or dark.
·Has a lot of depth to their coloring and a lot of contrast between their hair color, eye color and skin tone.
·Generally brunettes with deeply colored eyes.
·Many Asians and African Americans and Natural white-blondes.
The Best
·Sharp, stark and clear hues.
·Intense, rich colors, like black, navy blue, red, and hot pink
·Bright white or icy pastels, such as like cool blues, pinks and yellows
The Worst
·Earthy tones and subdued colors like beige, orange and gold
·Light-medium browns and some camel
Summer (Cool Tone)
You are a summer tone if the inside of your arm has blue or pink undertones with very pale and pink skin:
·Generally occurs in natural blondes, and pale-skinned brunettes with pale eyes.
The Best
·Soft neutrals and pastels, as well as muted colors with cool undertones.
·Powder blue, dusty pink, mauve, lavender, plum, and pale yellow
The Worst
·Intense, vivid hues
·Earth tones
·Black and orange
Autumn (Warm Tone)
You are a autumn tone if the inside of your arm has golden undertones like a pale peach, golden beige or golden brown:
·Generally redheads and brunettes with golden brown eyes and golden blonde and black hair coloring.
·Tend to have dark eyes
The Best
·Rich golden, spicy, and earthy colors
·Muted and rich warm colors, such as camel, beige, olive, orange, gold, dark brown, and grey.
The Worst
·Clear, bright colors
·Black and white
·Pastels
·Blue tones
Spring (Warm Tone)
You are a spring tone if the inside of your arm has subtle golden undertones, and are usually creamy white or peach with extremely light, ivory skin color:
·Generally natural golden blondes, auburn, or strawberry blond redheads
·Very clear, light blue and green colored eyes
·Freckles and rosy cheeks
·Tend to have pale eyes
The Best
·Pale, soft colors, such as peach, camel, golden yellow, golden brown, aqua, ivory, bright greens, true reds, clear blues and coral.
·Fabric textures should have a refined finish, crisp linens, gabardines, and polished cottons
The Worst
·Black and white
·Dark, dull/muted colors
WHEN WEARING RED
Many women fear wearing red. Strangely enough, the color red is a color that works for all complexions in some way.
Warm Tones (August/Spring)
1.When wearing red clothing, consider getting gold, beige and browns as neutrals to go with your clothing.
2.Pair red with animal prints, in natural animal fur colors
3.Pair red with black.
Cool Tones (Winter/Summer)
1.When wearing red clothing, consider getting blue, black and grey as neutrals to go with your clothing.

I am in my late twenty's. When i was in Jr. High i look back now and realize that i wore way way too much makeup cus it was cool and all my friends did too. What i know now is that less is more for sure. If you want to look natural but add to your own beauty, do what i do, Wear some mascara to highlight your pretty blue eyes and frame them and some lipglosss. It's simple quick and adds the right touch without looking like a clown. Almost all boys and men do not like women with makeup caked on. Additionally, I had rosy cheeks also and so if you can stay away from the foundation and go for a good poweder that will keep your skin balanced and cover up the rosy cheeks. It's easy to reaaply and wont look like you have a mask on. If you are doing sports or activities get a waterproof mascara so it wont run and leave you looking like a racoon. :) Hope this helps !

No you do not have to wear make-up, however if you would like to try a matte face powder, look for something very close to your skin tone. use matte because if you are as sporty as you say this will help with the occasional oiliness you may have later on in the day, you can always touch up but don't do it every 5 minutes...OK
Don't go to the expensive make-up counters at the mall they push more product than help you. I used to work for a manufacturer of make-up & skin care for private label. People order the cosmetics and put their name on it. Beleive me you wouldn't beleive what BIG companies actually ordered stuff from them. Legally I am not allowed to talk about the clients......so... look around try out samples of products to see which one works best for you.
You do not need anything else maybe a little eyeliner & gloss or a shear lipstick keep it simple. Too much looks silly and there is nothing wrong with Not wearing make-up.
Please oh please don't take a dark color liner and line your lips then put a nude or very fair color lipstick on IT LOOKS STUPID like you had and oreo & didn't wipe your mouth.
Remeber when you wear make-up you also have to thnk about your skincare needs. Good Luck you'll do fine with whatever you choose to do.

Everyone looks better with GOOD makeup, that's a fact. I can go to the shops and run errands in no makeup happily as I have good skin, but I think with the right application everyone looks nice with makeup, particularly for nights out. Invest in small pieces of good quality makeup, priority being a foundation, eyebrow pencil, powder and mascara, a small amout of blush and a neutral lip will always look natural and effortless, I think it's a confidence boost :)

first of all dont wear makeup just because you feel you have to, wear it because you want to. I would start with a concealer or foundation to cover your exsema and make your skin look even. then put some peachy blush on your cheeks, and a little lip gloss in what ever colour you feel comfortable wearing. That should do the trick thier but if you wanna be a little more daring you could add mascara and some brown eyeshadow.

Less is definitely more, and it sounds like you're not looking for a long involved morning routine anyway.
Start with mascara and lip gloss daily and see how you like it. That's usually all you need to look naturally pretty and pulled together.
A translucent powder can also be a nice touch, but be sure you apply it with a brush, not the little pad or sponge they put in the compact.
Save the eyeshadow and blush and eyeliner and everything else for later.
L'Oreal's Color Juice sheer juicy lip glosses are great and you can pick them up at the drugstore. I like Cargo when I'm looking to spend a little more.

If your sporty, then makeup isn't the best for you. You'll sweat it all off. You could always try mascara? But that wont do much. Your best bet would be using some eyeliner with eyeshadow. Or just one of them. But I've only seen few eyeshadows that looks good with no eyeliner. But either way, try getting something that doesn't sweat off easliy. Maybe MAC or Urban Decay/Hard Candy. Rock stars use that brand, and they sweat a lot, so maybe it'll work for you.
As for colors, I'd go with black eyeliner, or black eyeshadow. I'm not saying that out of personal preferance, btw.
Good luck. :)

If you feel like you are ready to wear makeup...go for it! (just make sure you are not doing it to follow the crowd) It sounds like you have pretty eyes and cheeks, so you can dress them up by putting on some mascara and light eyeshadow (no eyeliner!) It sounds like you don't need blush...if you want to wear it, be my guest! All you really need is light shades of makeup and you will be good to go.

For ur cheeks, find a foundation that matches ur skin tone wen its not red. Put a little bit of lotion on ur cheeks 1st, THEN a dab of foundation n rub it in so its natural lookin. That shud get rid of the redness. For eyeshadpw to make ur eyes pop put a baje eyeshadow on wit ur pinky finger litely. Mostly on top but jus do a quick swipe underneath so they look rounder. Go head n use a little mascara if u want n sum lipgloss to plump ur lips. Hope I helped! <333

hey, you're the same age as me!!
i wear mostly lip gloss and eye shadow. sometimes blush and mascara. make sure you buy colors of eye shadow that will look good with your eyes. for blue eyes, you would want to try browns and greens or even soft pinks. do not wear eye shadow that is the same color as your eyes. wear something that contrasts so that your eyes pop.
as for lip gloss, i have 79. yeah i know, thats way too many, and i'm trying to use them up more. i just lost one, and i gave my sister two of them cuz they were hers anyways, i found them lying around the house. i used them a couple times, but thats all. lol. i would just get some shine lip gloss from target or dollar general. and maybe some with sparkle, but make sure you have a plain one for chapped lips. burts bees works great. i would get maybe 4 shine lip glosses in different flavors, and 2 sparkle ones. and if you are wearing a sparkle one, make sure you are wearing a simple eye shadow. you can't play up the eyes and the lips at the same time. now back to lip gloss...... i would also get maybe one or two that have color. but make sure it doesn't look bad with your skin complexion. you could ask your mom what would look good, cuz they usually know that kind of stuff.
for mascara, i know that they make colored mascara, but stick to black.
and for blush, just find a soft pink color
hope this helps
Luv ya <3

sweetheart, first of all if u personally dont wanna wear make up then don't wear it. do what u wanna do. if ur confident then u will look even pretty without makeup. personally i love makeup so i use it. as for makeup that is simple ,start with clear lipgloss and mascara for bottom and upper lashes because it enhances your eyes.and curl your lashes with eyelash curler. its all in eyes. good luck! and yeah always have a beautiful smile on face because it is the best makeup!
