Avoid products formullatted with alcohol... Most of the times, the problem is that we are using products containing mineral oil and alcohol and fragrances these all are very damaging for our skin's health.... mineral oil because it is an ingredient that is derivated form petroleum....it will be like using car oil and exposing your self to the sun in fact it is the 2nd worse thing you could do to your skin (1st thing will be the sun) using fragrances or chemicals or dyes are known irritants and can cause allergic reactions. what i use to shave my legs would be a face wash formulatted without these i have told you about ... it is called Nutrimin-C RE9 Face wash: look for it at the left margin under anti-aging.... my husband and i use it and it works WOW....I know it is a face wash but honestly it is great and leaves your skin smooth and there is also a mens line which is great and has a facial scrub where men could see the difference and loose that dull appearance sometimes we have on our skin from the absence of exfoliating ....... and after that you can put their body lotion fast without waiting for it will not give you a reaction or sting.... http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com

You must shave in the direction that the hair growns NOT against the growth. Make sure you clean your face after you shave or apply a warm towel to remove shaving cream residue. This should not give you the bumps.
If this doesn't work try an electric razor you know the ones with the circular blades.

Not all men get hair bumps. But, there is something you can use after you shave to get rid of the bumps go to any store where you buy your shaving cream and razors and you will see something for that. However, the bumps are caused by hair curling back into the skin. I always pick those hairs out of my husbands face after he shaves and put alcohol on. It makes to bumps go away.

The Reason for the bumps is skin irritation. Finding the right shaving cream and razor combination that won't cause that is a very costly journey, but it is worth it in the end.

I've found out if I shave every other day I don't get hair bumps my skin I take care of it, I use alcohol and Noxzema after shaving at night. I always shave at night so my face can adjust and heal if I make a mistake and nick myself and start bleeding slightly. I also use Vaseline on my face I like how that makes my skin smooth.

I use the Schick (or Gillette) whoever makes the Mach 3 Turbo. Yeah, I know. It's a dumb name for a razor, but it's the best one I've tried yet.
Also, I'm pretty sure Gillette makes this aftershave gel, that I like better than regular aftershave lotion.
Hope this helps.

I use Neutrogena facial scrub before shaving, Neutrogena shave creme (not gel), and Neutrogena post shave soothing lotion and I don't get razor burn or bumps. Also, don't shave against the grain of your whiskers.

You get razor bumps when hair curls around and re-enters the skin, creating an ingrown hair; we see these as razor bumps.
So, to rid yourself of ingrown hairs and the resulting razor bumps - use an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells around them, and a face scrub to free the ingrowns.

No just shave properly .. against the hair growth ... hairs are more weaker, grows back slower and just generally safer
