With the exception of Beckam and maye Owen, most of the english soccer team are extremely overrated.
Yes they are good, but the way the media tends to describe them you'd think they in the same class as Zidane.
Can you even compare Gerrard, Cole, Terry and Rooney, and with the likes of Zidane or Ronaldo. They know where near there abilties

They are not overrated!!! They do great in their clubs, you just think they are overrated because they haven't done well on the national team. It's just because our manager couldn't pull them together as a team that's all.

Not overrated. I would take many of the English team before Ronaldinho as they are not selfish, especially Gerrard. Just because they don't perform well in the WC doesn't mean they are bad players.

I quite agree with crazy_one.See Gerrard's wonderful performance in the final match of UEFA Champions League 04-05?And Lampard's performance in the league?He scored most in Chelsea as a midfielder!Maybe someone in England is overrated,he is David Beckham.In term of soccer skills,he is overrated because he just has one wonderful right foot.But he is quite influential.But most of them worth their value.Ronaldo?No club will accept him except Real Madrid.

They have some of the best team chemistry of anyone. I agree Cole is a lil overrated. Other than his tempre, Rooney is one of the best younf players along w/Cristiano Ronaldo
