I was looking through some websites of 9/11 and I just started to grieve all over again. I thought that I was over what happened but I'm not. I know that it has been a long time but I'm still astonished at how other human beings would intentially hurt one another. I always thought 'what happened happened and there is nothing you can do but move on' I don't understand why we would go back and hurt these people. Yeah they caused us a lot of pain but its not right to go back and hurt them. We should just punish those who did the act not the rest of the people that didn't have anything to do with it. I know that this is a touchy subject but I don't want other people to feel what I feel if they didn't do anything. All the children dying over there didn't deserve to die. All of our soldiers over there don't dserve to be there. I just can not believe what we have become.

The Bushes and big oil wanted a friendly government in that area, especially with Iran being a nuclear wild card. The whole thing has been insane. Meanwhile, the Taliban is getting stronger in Afghanistan again. If there weren't any terrorists in Iraq before, there sure as hell are now. Why haven't we caught Osama Bin Laden? Pressure from the Saudi government, whose oil we need so badly?

Bush Jr. lied about the danger posed by Iraq, and 54 million voting Americans fell for it. Let's hope they don't fall for it again.

Well it was NOT for 911 or WMD, for starters.

There were many reasons the greatest of which was economic.

The whole world conducts it's international trade in Dollars, So long as this continues, the USA can run up as much dollar debt as it likes and the rest of the world will bail it out by using the dollar as the currency of choice and therefore, the dollar holds it's value on the international money markets.

Oil is a major driver of this international trade. So long as oil is sold in Dollars, the dollar maintains it's value and the US can keep paying it's debts.

Saddam had started selling his oil in Euros, other countries in the middle east look to do the same. If Iran, saudi and others trade oil in Euros, then the dollar will collapse MASSIVELY. there will be an economic collapse in the US that would make the 'crash' of 1929 look like a picnic.

The US invaded Iraq, ended the UN sanctions and immediately started selling Iraqi oil in Dollars again. the brewing civil war has meant that the oil is not flowing out of Iraq as quickly as Bush had hoped it would, and terrible instability remains in the area, and so oil prices have stayed high. this is not so much Bush's fault, as the oil companies who are not really working too hard to change the situation. why should they, there execs are making billions in profit from these high prices.

the Iranians are talking about opening up an oil bourse in Iran (an oil market) and trading their oil and natural gas in Euros.

911 and WMD were a smokescreen behind which the US administration could hide and behind wich they could agree.

Unfortunately they were all lies.

naother reason was to shift the balance of power in the region. This gamble has not worked. it has actually given far more power in the region to the Shia and the Iranians, thus causing Israel and the zionist neo-cons to become very nervous.

Expect more bloodshed, before people finally see sense.

Peace will break out. people will see that there is no road to peace. PEACE IS the road!!

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.

Bring the fight to the terrorists and oil of course. Not too mention we need bases in the middle east which Halliburton is building to line the current administrations pockets.

We went to help free an oppressed people from a maniac dictator, and to put a dent in terrorism. The surrounding countries don't want Iraq to be free so they continue the fight.
