no but the pap smear reading can be affected if you are having sex before it is done. Good Luck.

No having the pap won't reduce any chances of getting pregnant. Having sex before you go could interfere with the test results. Nothing in the vagina for 24 hours before the exam.

No. the pap smear will not hurt the "material" You should let your dr know you are trying to conceive. Dont have intercourse 24 hrs before your pap smear as your test results will be inaccurate

No, the pap won't effect your chances. Having too much sex can. To give those swimmers the strongest chance, have sex every 36 - 48 hours. This will make the sperm much more potent (my doctor's recommendation as well). I speak from experience... prego with my second and it works like a charm. After sex, take a quick pee... and jump into bed for a nap or to go to sleep.

No, but you should actually avoid sex for 24 hours before your pap. It could throw your results off. Change your appt.

I would reshcedule the pap test if you are planning on having sex. The readig can be wrong if there is sperm present. They do a pap when you are pregnant anyways...

Sounds to me like you should call your doctor and either ask this question to them or reschedule your pap for another day just to be sure.

I'd say no. But, if you're worried, they can always do a pap AFTER you're pregnant with no risk to your fetus.
