My computer is a Dell Dimension 3000 w/ pentium 4 CPU, 2.80 GHz, and 256 MB RAM. I know I need to get a RAM upgrade if I want to play my new computer game, but I dont know what to look for. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Use the tool at http://crucial.com to determine what RAM you will need. You do not have to buy it from them to use the tool.

go for a 512mb. i dont really think that the brand really matters.

go to www.buymemory.com they will have the memory you need, in order to play your new game.

i would suggest getting two 512MB... if you don't have that much money right now then you have to get another 256MB.
