Sometimes people do suffer from insomnia where our internal clock gets out of wack, in which case a trip to the doc can help. Other times it is stress induced and it is very natural for one to rewind the daily events as soon as one's head hits the pillow and then it is like day time all over again and we wake up. If we are clock watchers turn the clock around so you can't see it. Only go to bed when you are tired, not because you think you should. Most of the time if it is not insomnia and a trip to the doc can help; we know why we can't sleep. So have you husband evaluate the prob and go from there. Good luck...

My husband did that for years before he finally went to a Dr. he was put on pills for Anxiety (Buspar) and it was just perfect. Men who go to the restroom a lot, yet have trouble finishing should have their Prostrate checked. My Dad died from prostrate cancer, because he ignored the symptoms. Good Luck to you both!

EDIT:: I was only trying to help. I thought you wanted ideas. Sorry
