We have a lot of friends and family in that area and I'm worried about them. Plus I live in Ohio and I'm wondering if my we're in danger over here.

Well according to Dr. William Gray of Col.State Univ. just came out with a new percentages for storms this year. He want up on his prediction about a Major Storm hitting the East coast and want down on the Gulf coast. He also said the chances of a Major storm hitting the US this year is higher then normal as well. Now the good news he lower his prediction for how many named storms, hurricanes, and also major hurricanes too. So just keep your eye on the Atlantic and the tropics. Here is a link to my Hurricane page on my webstie with great links.

It's POSSIBLE, as anything is possible anyway. The NY area is due for a hurricane climatologically, but the odds of a major hurricane hitting NYC dead on are very slim.

I'd worry more about Florida. But you're in Ohio, what do you care?
