I got a tattoo on my shoulder when I was 18, you know, those crazy days!!! It's a little Gecko and it has always been my pet and initiator of conversations. Anyways, I don't regret getting the tattoo (except when I had my Gecko with me in my classic wedding dress but that's another story) but now that I'm older, I think that with hindsight I would've gone for something a bit more feminine. You change as you get older and obviously 10 years down the line your outlook will change together with your preferences for tattoos! My advise is choose something that is not overwhelmingly big, like max 5 centimetres is a good size and something that is not gonna 'age', like you get 'classic' cars and then the piece of scrap in the junkyard that nobody is interested in. Also, colours tend to fade quicker than plain black. Don't be in a rush to choose a design. Take at least a week or two to make a good decision on various samples that you are interested in before you choose the one that is most suitable. Good luck and enjoy your new initiator of conversations... Oh, make sure you go to a reputable tattoo artist. Hygiene is of the utmost priority as you can pick up nasty diseases otherwise.

Grasshoppers frequently develop so well that the form a plague and eat everything when literally millions of them swarm through the land eating anything which comes in their way. In the beginning they are lovely and green in the end dark greyish black.
because they bump into eachother constantly

The same thing you see with cityfolk and farmers
Cityfolk ( apart from always wearing black New Yorkers) dress up more colorfull and with more attire as the modest peasant.
So how much do you need to distinguish yourself from the (city)crowds?
And if so why do you have this need?
You will wear this tatoo for he rest of your life, so it better be good.

Before you do consider that you will have that tattoo for life.
The fashion for tattoos will fade and you will still have it showing. It will also slightly degrade over the years. Do you want to be some old geezer with a grizzled tattoo showing something you thought was good at the time. It is also worth remembering that it does not always fit in with the image certain employers want. Ie Acab on your knuckles. or Mild & Bitter on your boobs Could jepadise your job when a medical is needed. The doctor will hsave to report your tattoos

Well it depends. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against tattoos but will you want it there your whole life? because eventually the color fades, and your skin sags. I don't know if you have kids, but if you don't do you want that to be there if you do have them? Plus they hurt a lot. But on the other side tattoos are a great way the express yourself. Plus it looks pretty cool. And now you can get tattoos removed, too. If yu don't care having your tattoo be there your whole life I say go have some fun girl! If yes, then I wouldn't get one. You never know what the future will bring. But remember, BE CAREFUL! If the place your going to doesn't clean needles well enough, there is a possibilty of AIDS. So pick somewhere good and have fun!

Good Luck, I hope my answer helped you! Have fun!

This is not something that you should ask on here. Having a tattoo is something that you are going to have to live with for the rest of your life. So make sure you make the right decision. If you do, never get a boy/girl friends name, that is a big mistake, when you split up you are left with their memory forever and you might not want to.

NO
If you can see it, it keeps you from getting certain jobs. Professionals do not have them.
You look silly with a wrinkly tattoo when you are old.
Get a henna tattoo if you want one.
Who likes the same hair style and clothes 5 years from now. You will get sick of the tattoo TOO!

I think it is a personal decision based on your opinion about tattoos. I got one when I was 20, and i put it to the right and down a little bit of my belly button that way if I didnt like it later it didnt have to show. 10 years later I wish I wouldnt have. There are people who like them and people who dont. Your choice and Good luck deciding.

I had some tattoos 12 years ago and I can;t remove them because they are colourful

please don't do this I wake up everyday kicking myself- its like wearing the same piece of clothing forever- you'll get bored of it eventually no matter how cool it is now

Trust me a blemish free body is far sexier- anbd a rarity these days

Yes, across the forehead saying I am stupid. tattoos are so ugly I have no idea why any person would want them and they last for your life. Well that is my view so if it is something you really like then why not. We all need a way to say something. Take a photo and but it on this site.

Do you think it will look good?

Are you brave enough to endure the needle?

Have you decided why you want it?

Are you willing to accept that it will probably be there for the rest of your life?

Have you thought about where it will go?

If you've thought about all this and thought things through - then I say - you should go for it - it's your body - you only live once - seize the day and all that :)
