I find that I get out of breath quicker. If I go swimming,I don't dare go out where the water is over my head.
When I walk,my feet have lost the natural cushioning and I feel almost a teeth rattling jar.
I don't stay out too late at night.,and it's hell getting up early.
I am a truck driver and I use to jump out of the back of my trailer. A couple of years ago I did that and both of my ankles screamed! I guess it was their way of telling me not to EVER do that again, and I haven't.
My age is 57 and I've been fortunate to live a good healthy life, but as old age creeps up, the old body starts to wear out.
About all you can do is try to take better care of yourself, like watch what you do and watch what you eat and take vitamins-preferably liquid ones. Hang in there kiddo. The ride ain't over yet.

Sadly this summer has been a real eye opener for me, I am indeed finding myself on the long slide down from the top of the hill. Its more then just the glasses, little bits of memory lapses here and there, not able to push it like I used to at the gym. My days of running are over, both knees are wore out, so its biking or walking. Sleep is changing as well, seem to go to bed earlier, sleep less and never really feel like I've been to bed at all. Still read but sometimes have to re-read things to get the meaning, that was never the case before. And the worst part of it is on my new drivers license right next to the part about being a donor its lists in big block letters -- GEEK.

I remember FDR so I am not young at all. I am in very good health not over weight and still can out work most of you out there. Yes I do look older than fourty years ago but I do not look old. Have a good life and live long.

When I take off my glasses ,that's when I see my signs of aging, other than when I go shopping for clothes.

The gray hairs are multiplying. Also, the mind is willing, but the flesh is weak. I can't sit on the floor like I used to, and there are a few more aches and pains in the morning, but other than that, I feel about the same.

Yeah, I see the signs, but am proud of my few greys. Why all the pressure to cover up the natural signs of having beatten the odds?

I'm starting to get a few silvery-white luminescent strands of hair mingled in with the red now. I actually like the look.

The first day I need help to turn on my new television I realized I was getting old.
A child of ten helped me.
What a shame.
