I like them all, but Marvel Girl (Jean Grey) the Phoenix, has the best powers. Telepathy and telekinesis is an awesome combination. With a little imagination they can be used to simulate or susbtitute for almost any other power.
You can use telepathy to simulate x ray vision or super hearing if you can read the mind of someone else at a distance and know what they see or hear.
You can use telekinesis (TK) to levitate or fly.
You can add to your natural strength (holding some of the weight with muscle and some with TK) and seem incredibly strong.
You can distract other people's attention telepathically and seem invisible.
You don't need to be able to stretch your limbs if you can reach beyond your body with TK.
As long as you are not knocked unconscious, you can probably set broken bones and pinch off blood vessels to keep from bleeding to death with your TK. (Not as good as instant healing, but hey, it's better than nothing and a lot better than what most people have.)
If you have a good imagination and a forceful personality, you can probably use telepathy to put realistic illusions into people's minds.
Jean has been shown to be able to make people forget things, and she can probably make people like her, too.
TK can be used to protect against thrown objects, maybe even against bullets. Even if it is limited to your reaction time, it can still be used to defend against unarmed combat.
If you really, really want energy powers, you can always use your TK to throw someone into a high-voltage line or beak open someone 's gas tank and strike a spark with some rocks lying nearby. That's good enough.
You can use telepathy and telekinesis for almost anything.

I think Xavier but the best is the Wolverine. He does not have special powers but he winds peolpe up, well to be exact Cyclops. The whole X-MEN story revolves around him, I think. Well in the movies

Jean - coz I believe fighting using the brains is much good rather than fighting using a sword....
and I do wish that I have the powers..too

cyclops, he would not get sufficient credit, he's the chief of xmen and they continuously over look him, they continuously aspect the thoughts in the route of wolverine. gay. i love the arch angel too, no longer from x3 despite the indisputable fact that the actual arch angel. the blue and red one.
