I don't really want him to die, but after all the crap they keep putting him through, maybe that would be the most humane thing.

i would think that what she have in mind for this last book .but she know that every one of us think he will be the one of two who die .but i don't think he will .even so that want keep this book from being rewritten of made over because it is magic right he could come back from the dead.so it want mean a end to harry potter i don't think

My wife and I were talking about this yesterday. I think she should use the last book to turn the series into a classic Shakesperean tragedy - a la Hamlet. This way, noone can make her write another book in the series.

I don't want him to die...but, maybe she has a reason for killing him. Maybe he will have greater power somehow.....
