Clark, jones, mason, smith are 4 ppl. there are 4 professions druggists, grocer, butcher, policeman. find out who is who?
The conditions are as follows
1)clark and jones are neighbours and they drive each other to work.
2)jones earns more than mason
3) the police man earns more than the druggists and i "think" the grocer.
4) the policeman does not have a druggists as a neighbour.
5) the butcher walks to work
6)policeman does not meet the grocer until he arrests him for commiting an offence

Police man is Smith, the butcher is Mason, The Grocer and the Druggist would need more information because there is not enough to determine which is the druggist and which is the grocer from the two remaining chaps. I figured Police man as Smith because you know that Clark and Jones are neighbors- You know that the police makes more than the druggist and the grocer, you know that Mason makes less than Jones, you know that the policeman isn't neighbors to the druggist and he doesn't meet the grocer -So knowing all that I elimitnated the neighbors as posibablities for the police man and was left with two and whereas Mason made less than Jones -I elimitnated him for the police man-- The two neighbors drove each other and the butcher walked so the only conclusion to who would be the Butcher is mason-- There just isn't enough here to figure out the other two jobs.
