Because some of the people on here have low self esteem so it makes them feel better when they notice someone making a mistake. So that they can make the feeling of superiority last longer they publicaly declare the mistake in the hope others will think they are superior. It's all to do with self esteem.

You are OK this time. You have at least two mistakes. It would be normal to start with a capital letter and I think you mean "make 1 mistake", or "get one thing wrong".

Tell us all! Just what dumb *** mistake did you make this time! You know that YOU are always wrong! That's what's so right about you! Rejoice in your personal failure and stupidity! For that is the Real You!

I don't no i think it's because no one has any patience or room for errors in their life - this explains the rising no. of ppl having fights with their neighbours.
I mean isn't it ridiclous when someone makes one small spelling mistake and they get their head completely bitten off or get the piss taken out of them.

Depends on the mistake.
BTW all "mistakes" are wrong, but sometimes they lead to discoveries*. The phrase should be 'you get 1 thing wrong' or 'you make 1 mistake'.

You should have left a space between 1 and mistake.

I don't like when people make mistakes in their spelling or grammar. There's no excuse for it when there's a spell check. I wouldn't usually say anything though. It seems prudish.
