If I want to do vocals, will I have to buy another amp?
More to the point, is the world ready for my singing?

you'd need to run the mic through a pre amp first the cd input on the amp will be for a line level signal like the one that a cd player outputs

a mic outputs a much lower level of signal so you need to give it a boost first which is what the pre amp does
if your looking for a mic to use while playing your guitar go for a mic that is both cardioid(means it'll just pick up the stuff on front of it ie just your voice not the amp) dynamic(means it isnt powered and is more able to take a bit of a knock)
Sure make the best ones look for a SM58 or SM57 pretty much the industry standard and have been for years and there pretty much indistructable ive drove a van over one had one dropped in a pint of lager and there still going strong

you need to bear in mind that the sound quality is going to be pretty bad through a guitar amp but if you can put up with that good luck

Provided you have an adaptor (if you need one)

I used to use an amp for an electric piano I had with wimpy built-in speakers, and it worked a treat! I had an adaptor to allow the 1/4" jack to fit in the bigger socket

EDIT

Although it would sound better with another amp, as you'd get a cleaner sound. It's entirely possible though, as all the amp is doing is taking the input and, well, amplifying it

It will be OK. Divide the wattage of your connected appliances by the voltage you are using. EG a 1kw fire divided by 240 = about 4 and a bit. This last number is the ampage. Do not let your total ampage exceed 13. (Add together the wattage for all the connected appliances)

No because the microphone wouldn't have enough power to get any sound out. You would need some sort of pre-amp first.
